The third version of Soldier of Fortune game series is titled simply “Payback”. It will be released via Activision in the second week of November. Game should be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. This installment of SoF offers another tasty doze of hitman’s normal dayly routiness. The main character, Thomas Mason, is going to operate on Middle-East, Africa, Asia and also in Eastern parts of Europe. Thomas Mason is sent to deal with extremists, which cannot be handled by ordinary army troops.

“Payback” is enhanced with refined game controls and a very detailed damage system meaning that for example a one limb might be injured. It also offers more gun variations than it’s predecessors (there’s more than 30 weapons, including assault and sniper rifles, explosives and tactical weapons).

Soldier of Fortune: “Payback” will also have an diverse collection of multiplayer modes — there’s at least deathmatch, elimination, capture the flag and demolition.

At this moment this is officially banned in Australia and it can’t be sold or advertised or even imported to there.
