Royal Hunt (www.royalhunt.com) has just published news about its new opus. Hard rock battalion is at the moment putting the finishing touches on its new album, which does not have a name yet. CD will be conceptual album and it’s going to be some sort of a sequel for the “Paradox” album, which was released nearly 10 years ago. Band released an update on its official studio diary. Group is going to mix the new album later this month at EMI/Medley Studios on Copenhagen.
Royal Hunt has summoned a bunch of guest singers for the new album:
Band’s latest musical effort is “Royal Hunt 2006” DVD, which was released last year’s November. The material for this release was recorded and filmed at St. Petersburg, in Russia. The show was witnessed by more than 1500 RH fans. DVD was the last release for band’s long time vocalist John West, who desided to depart from the group last year. He joined Royal Hunt in the year of 1999 when band was recording “Fear” album.
Royal Hunt, which hails from Denmark, released in 2005 its last studio album, titled “Paper Blood”. It was recorded at NorthPoint Productions and mixed at EMI/Medley Studio — the same facilities are used at this moment as band is working on its new effort.
